Conference Themes

Student Perspective: Four students representative of different deaf backgrounds, will present their perspectives based on their experience of the Assessment of Study Aids and Strategies process, the support provided and the major barriers experienced.

Assessor Perspective: Focusing on a range of recommendations and their supporting rationales, picking up on some of the barriers identified in the previous presentations.

HEI Perspective: Practical solutions to meeting Assessor recommendations including common difficulties experienced by tutors and how these can be resolved.

Question Time Panel: delegates will be asked to submit questions on any aspect of deaf student support for the panel to answer in time-honoured Question Time style.
